Materials & Process
Forged in Santa Fe by Blackbird & Sage, this copper-wrapped black tourmaline ring is created through a slow electroforming process that grows copper around each raw stone, preserving its natural shape and raw character. After electroforming the copper is hand-finished to an antique, weathered glow and sealed with a protective finish to slow patina and ensure durability for daily wear. The result is handcrafted copper jewelry with a secure, wrapped setting that keeps the stone visible and protected.

Because the copper adds subtle thickness during formation, sizes may vary by approximately¼ to ½ size.
If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up slightly for wider bands.
Need a specific size? Custom sizing may be available for select designs. Choose Custom where available and add your preferred ring size in Order Special Instructions at checkout. We offer handmade rings in sizes 1–16, including quarter and half sizes, so you can get a perfect, personalized fit.
