How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home
✨ Option 1: Use a Ring You Already Own
- Choose a ring that fits the intended finger.
- Measure the inside diameter of the ring with a ruler (in millimeters).
- Compare the measurement to a standard ring size chart (for example: 16.5 mm = US size 6).
✨ Option 2: String or Paper Strip Method
- Cut a thin strip of paper (about 5 6 mm wide) or use a piece of string.
- Wrap it snugly (but not tightly) around the base of your finger.
- Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in millimeters.
- Match the circumference to a ring size chart.
✨ Tips for the Best Fit
- Measure your finger at the end of the day, when it’s largest.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or hot.
- If you’re between sizes, go with the larger size for comfort.
- Wider bands can feel tighter consider sizing up 1/4 1/2 size.
If you’d like, tell me how you measured (inside of a ring you already own or the string/paper method), just send me the exact measurement in millimeters, and I’ll confirm the correct size for you.
