✦ MASTER HEALER COLLECTION

Clear quartz is the most abundant mineral on earth and one of the most structurally perfect. Silicon dioxide in its purest form, forming six-sided prisms that terminate in a point. Found on every continent, in every geological environment, in every culture's material history. It has been used as a tool, a lens, a talisman, and a sacred object for as long as humans have been picking up stones. The Master Healer Collection is built around clear quartz in all its forms — raw points, polished spheres, natural clusters, and the occasional inclusion-rich specimen that holds an entire landscape inside it.

The most common mineral on earth. The most useful stone in the collection.

What Clear Quartz Actually Does

Clear quartz is optically transparent, piezoelectric, and pyroelectric — it generates an electrical charge under pressure and temperature change. These properties make it genuinely useful in technology: quartz oscillators regulate the frequency in watches, computers, and radios. The same structural regularity that makes it useful in electronics is what makes it visually striking in jewelry. A well-terminated quartz point is a precise geometric object produced entirely by nature.

The traditional association with amplification and clarity is not mystical in origin — it is observational. Quartz is clear. It does not add color or distortion. It transmits light exactly as it receives it. Wear it when you want to think clearly, when you want to amplify the effect of other stones you are wearing, or when you simply want something that is beautiful and honest about what it is.

Forms of Quartz in This Collection

Raw quartz points show the natural termination and the growth lines along the shaft. Polished quartz has a glassy surface that catches light differently. Quartz with inclusions — rutile, chlorite, tourmaline, or other minerals trapped inside during formation — is some of the most visually interesting material we work with. Each inclusion is a record of what was present in the geological environment when the crystal grew. No two are identical.

Quartz as the April Birthstone

Clear quartz is the modern birthstone for April, alongside diamond. For those who want the clarity and brilliance of April's traditional stone without the price point of diamond, clear quartz is the honest alternative — genuinely beautiful, geologically significant, and available in raw forms that diamond never is.

Electroformed Copper Settings

Every piece in this collection is set in electroformed copper — copper deposited through an electrical current directly onto the stone, building up a solid setting that follows the stone's natural shape. The process takes hours. The result is organic, textured, and unique to each piece. The warm rose-copper of fresh electroformed copper against the clarity of quartz is one of the most striking material combinations we work with.

Care

Quartz is durable (7 on the Mohs scale) and suitable for everyday wear. Remove before water, swimming, and lotions. Store dry. Copper develops a natural patina over time. Clear quartz can be cleansed in sunlight without fading — unlike some of the colored stones in other collections.
