They form naturally with two pointed ends and exceptional clarity, making them a striking diamond alternative. Long associated with clarity and mental focus. Metal: Electroformed copper. Bright (warm, polished shine) or Antique (aged patina, earthy depth).
Band Width: ~2–3mm with organic copper texture.
Size: Custom sized for you, US 4–15.

How This Handmade Gemstone Ring Is Made
Each Herkimer diamond ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. Copper grows directly around the raw crystal through an electrical electroforming process, forming organically around the double-terminated structure. The natural facets catch and reflect light with every movement. No two rings are identical.
Sizing
Select your US ring size at checkout (4–15 available). The ~8mm crystal has a slightly more substantial presence than smaller stone rings. Between sizes? Size up for comfort. Need help? Email hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com and I’ll guide you through it.
Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Polish with a soft cloth to maintain shine (Bright finish) or let the patina deepen naturally (Antique finish). Herkimer diamonds are durable (7–7.5 Mohs) but treat gently to avoid chipping the natural crystal points.

This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.

Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
