Clear Quartz

Silicon dioxide in its purest form, forming six-sided prisms that terminate in a point. Optically transparent, piezoelectric, and one of the most structurally perfect minerals on earth. Used in watches, computers, and radios because its oscillation frequency is extraordinarily stable and precise. Associated with clarity, amplification, and the full-spectrum transmission of intention. For clarity work, clear quartz is the foundational stone: it does not add color or distortion, it transmits what is already present with greater precision. It also amplifies the energy of other stones worn alongside it, making it a useful companion to any piece in any other collection.

Selenite

A crystalline form of gypsum forming in long translucent white blades. Named for Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon. Some of the finest specimens come from the Cave of the Crystals in Naica, Mexico, where individual crystals reach up to 11 meters in length. Associated with clarity, cleansing, and the clearing of accumulated mental and energetic residue. For clarity work, selenite supports the quality of stillness that makes clear perception possible: the ability to stop, to clear, to return to a neutral state. Keep away from water, which will dissolve it over time.

Fluorite

Calcium fluoride forming in cubic crystals, occurring in a wide range of colors including purple, green, blue, yellow, and colorless. Often banded or zoned with multiple colors in a single specimen. One of the most fluorescent minerals in the natural world: the word fluorescence is derived from fluorite, which was the first mineral observed to exhibit the phenomenon. Associated with mental clarity, focus, and the organization of complex information into usable form. For clarity work, fluorite supports the analytical dimension: the ability to take in a great deal of information and find the pattern within it.

Herkimer Diamond

Not a diamond at all, but a doubly terminated quartz crystal found in Herkimer County, New York, and a few other locations worldwide. The name comes from the unusual natural double termination: most quartz crystals terminate at one end, attached to a matrix at the other. Herkimer diamonds form freely in their host rock and develop points at both ends, giving them a faceted, diamond-like appearance without any cutting or polishing. Found in dolostone formations estimated to be around 500 million years old. Associated with clarity, amplification, and the attunement of perception. One of the most visually striking quartz varieties in the collection and one of the most sought after for its natural geometry.

Apophyllite

A phyllosilicate mineral forming in glassy, highly reflective pyramidal crystals, typically colorless to pale green. Found primarily in India, particularly in the Deccan Traps basalt formations, where it forms in the cavities of ancient lava flows. One of the most optically brilliant minerals in the collection, with a clarity and reflectivity that approaches gemstone quality in its finest specimens. Associated with clarity, spiritual connection, and the opening of perception to subtler levels of experience. Less commonly used in jewelry than the other stones in this collection, which makes pieces featuring it genuinely unusual and worth seeking out.

Materials and Care

All pieces are set in electroformed copper or wire-wrapped brass, handcrafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Selenite must be kept away from water. Remove all pieces before water and chemicals. Store dry. Copper develops a natural patina over time.
