Blackbird & Sage creates handcrafted copper and silver gemstone jewelry for women who value natural beauty, quiet intention, and slow living.

Each piece is made by hand in my small studio, slowly shaped with care and chosen for its grounding presence. Inspired by the seasons, the earth, and ancient ways of being, this is jewelry that honors your connection to the natural world.

How It's Made

Every piece begins with raw materials: natural gemstones and earth-born metals. Copper and silver are grown around each stone through electroforming, layer by layer, until the form emerges. Edges are left organic. Patinas develop naturally over time.

The process is intentional. The result is jewelry that feels authentic, textured, and made, not manufactured.

This is craft in the old way. Rooted in patience. Shaped by hand. Connected to something timeless.

The Materials

I work with natural gemstones chosen for their beauty and gentle meaning.

Raw amethyst for calm. Labradorite for presence. Moonstone for intuition and lunar connection. Turquoise for grounding.

Each stone carries its own energy—not in a mystical sense, but in the way natural materials simply feel right. They're reminders. Small anchors. Pieces of the earth you can wear every day.

Metals are chosen for warmth and wearability: electroformed copper that develops a living patina, and electroformed silver that carries a cooler, quieter luminosity. Both grow around each stone by hand in the Santa Fe studio.
