Rose Quartz
Pink quartz, the most widely used stone for love across cultures and centuries. Associated with compassion, emotional warmth, and the opening of the heart to others. In the context of relationships, rose quartz supports the quality of presence — the ability to be genuinely available to another person. Found in Brazil, Madagascar, South Africa, and India. Beautiful in raw form, soft in color, and one of the most universally resonant stones we work with.
Rhodonite
A manganese silicate mineral in pink to deep rose with distinctive black veining. Associated with forgiveness, emotional balance, and the healing of wounds that formed in relationship. Rhodonite is particularly associated with the work of forgiving — not forgetting, not excusing, but releasing the grip of old hurt so it stops shaping the present. The black veining against the pink makes each piece visually unique and striking.
Pink Tourmaline
A boron silicate mineral occurring in pink to deep rose, colored by manganese. Part of the same mineral family as black tourmaline but with an entirely different energy — where black tourmaline grounds and protects, pink tourmaline opens and connects. Associated with love, emotional healing, and the heart chakra. One of the more vivid and saturated of the pink stones, particularly in its deeper rose varieties. The October birthstone alongside opal.
Kunzite
A pink to violet variety of spodumene, named after gemologist George Frederick Kunz. Found primarily in Afghanistan, Brazil, and the United States. Associated with unconditional love, the opening of the heart, and emotional healing at a deep level. Kunzite is sometimes called the stone of emotion — it is associated with the kind of love that is not conditional on behavior or circumstance. Can fade in prolonged direct sunlight — store away from strong light.
Morganite
A pink variety of beryl, the same mineral family as emerald and aquamarine, colored by manganese. Named after financier and gem collector J.P. Morgan. Found in Brazil, Madagascar, Afghanistan, and the United States. Associated with divine love, compassion, and the healing of the heart at a spiritual level. Morganite tends toward the softer, more luminous end of the pink spectrum — peachy-pink to pale rose — and is one of the more elegant stones in this collection.
Materials and Care
All pieces are set in electroformed copper or wire-wrapped brass, handcrafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Kunzite should be stored away from direct sunlight. Remove all pieces before water and chemicals. Store dry. Copper develops a natural patina over time.
