This heart-shaped kunzite ring features a genuine heart-shaped kunzite stone in soft blush-pink, its smooth surface quietly luminous with a gentle inner warmth, as copper grows directly around it preserving the heart silhouette completely. A heart-centered, calming presence for daily wear or moments when you need to feel open and grounded. A piece with a shape that says something without saying anything at all.

Why Kunzite
Kunzite is a naturally occurring lithium aluminum silicate mineral — the pink variety of spodumene — its soft blush color the result of trace manganese content. First described in the early 20th century and named after the gemologist George Frederick Kunz. Long associated with the heart and with compassionate, gentle energy, and with the heart chakra (Anahata). It is chosen for its soft pink luminescence, its heart-shaped natural form, and its calming, heart-opening energy. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Kunzite Ring Is Made
Each heart-shaped kunzite ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every stone for its color and heart form, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around the stone through an electrical process, preserving the heart silhouette exactly as the stone was cut. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every ring from this studio is one of a kind.

Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.

Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.
