Soft pale pink rose quartz, milky and translucent, cradled in the curve of an electroformed copper crescent. Rose quartz has a quietness to it, a warmth that reads gentle against the antique copper, tender without being precious. This is a ring for the ones drawn to something soft and meaningful, a piece that wears close to the skin and carries the energy of compassion, self-love, and open-heartedness. The open adjustable band fits a wide range of sizes and the delicate scale makes it one of the most natural stackers in the collection.

Rose quartz is associated with love, compassion, and gentle healing. It is a heart chakra stone, connected to self-love, emotional warmth, and the energy of nurturing and care. Wear it when you need to feel soft, held, and open.

Why Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is a variety of quartz whose soft pink color comes from trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese within the crystal structure. It forms in massive deposits rather than distinct crystals, giving it a characteristic milky translucency. Major sources include Brazil, Madagascar, South Africa, and the United States. Rose quartz has been used in love talismans and adornment since ancient times, found in Egyptian and Roman artifacts dating back thousands of years. No mystical claims. Just a genuinely beautiful and ancient stone with a meaning that fits real life.

Rose Quartz Crescent Moon Ring: Materials & Specifications

  • Band: Open adjustable band, fits approximately US sizes 5 through 9. Custom sizes US 4 through 15 available.
  • Origin: Handcrafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico

How This Handmade Rose Quartz Moon Ring Is Made

Each rose quartz cabochon is hand-selected for its soft color and milky translucency before the copper crescent is built up around it through an electrolytic electroforming process. The copper grows organically around the stone and setting, creating a granular textured surface completely unique to each piece. The antique finish warms the copper and creates a tender contrast with the pale pink stone.

A Note on Stone Variation

Rose quartz is a natural stone and each cabochon will vary slightly in depth of pink, from very pale blush through soft medium pink, and in degree of milky translucency. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind.

Care

Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store dry. The antique copper finish will develop a natural patina over time, deepening the character of the piece.

About Electroforming

Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.

Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.

For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.

Care & Patina

Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.

Copper Protection

Embrace the Patina

Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.

Why add lacquer?

  • Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
  • Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
  • Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
  • Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
