How This Handmade Rose Quartz Ring Is Made

Each stone is hand-selected for color and raw character before the ring is built up around it through an electrolytic copper electroforming process. The copper grows directly around each stone, creating a setting completely unique to each piece. The chevron shape is formed by hand, then the ring is passed through the silver bath multiple times to build up a thick, substantial silver layer over the copper base. The recessed areas are oxidized to create contrast and depth between each stone cup.

Rose quartz is a natural stone and each piece will vary slightly in tone, shape, and surface texture. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind.

Care

Rose quartz is relatively durable but benefits from gentle care. Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store dry and away from prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the blush color. The multi-layer silver-plated finish is more durable than standard plating and will hold up well with normal wear. A light buff with a silver polishing cloth will restore the bright silver surfaces if desired.
