Soft lilac-pink tones shimmer through this kunzite ring, warm copper wrapping the stone completely. A gentle, grounding presence for moments when the world moves too fast. A quiet reminder that softness is its own kind of strength.
Kunzite is associated with emotional healing, calm, and gentle heart-centered energy. A companion for transitions and moments of overwhelm.
Why Kunzite
Kunzite is the pink to lilac variety of spodumene, a lithium aluminum silicate mineral. Its color comes from trace amounts of manganese. Long associated with emotional healing and calm. It is chosen for its soft lilac-pink tones, its gentle shimmer, and its heart-centered quality. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful stone with a tender meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Gemstone Ring Is Made
Each kunzite ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every stone for its natural color, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around the stone through an electrical process, forming the band organically. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every handmade gemstone ring from this studio is one of a kind.

Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Polish with a soft cloth to maintain shine (Bright finish) or let the patina deepen naturally (Antique finish). Kunzite can fade with prolonged sunlight exposure, store away from direct light when not wearing.

About Electroforming
Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.
Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.

Care & Patina
Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
Copper Protection
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
Details:
- Optional upgrade available for $5
- Applied directly to your copper ring, cuff, or bracelet before shipping
- Clear finish — no change to the look or feel of your piece
