Rose quartz has a way of finding the people who need it most. Pale blush-pink, softly translucent, with an inner glow that shifts in different light, each raw stone is a natural crystal chunk with its own irregular form and internal fractures. The stone is electroformed directly into a copper setting, the metal building up organically around the base of the crystal over many hours until the two become inseparable. This is the ring you reach for when you want to feel held.
Rose quartz is associated with the heart chakra, unconditional love, and emotional healing. It is a traditional gift for a 5th anniversary and a meaningful stone for Valentine's Day, birthdays, and new beginnings. Wear it when you need to feel open, loved, and at peace.
Why Rose Quartz?
Rose quartz is a variety of quartz colored by trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese. Its soft pink ranges from nearly white to a deeper dusty rose depending on the individual stone. It has been used as a stone of love and beauty since ancient times, found in jewelry from Egypt, Rome, and Greece. It sits at 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it durable for everyday wear with reasonable care. It is one of the most widely recognized heart chakra stones, associated with self-love, compassion, and the gentle release of emotional wounds. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.
Raw Rose Quartz Ring: Materials and Specifications
- Stone: Raw, unpolished rose quartz. Pale blush-pink, softly translucent with natural internal fractures. Average stone size approximately 10mm. Each stone is hand-selected. Natural variation in size, shape, and tone is expected and celebrated.

- Band: Thin electroformed copper wire base with granular texture.
- Setting: Electroformed copper wraps organically around the base and sides of the stone, no prongs.
- Finish options: Bright Copper, Antique Copper.
- Sizing: US/CA sizing, 5 through 9, plus Custom. Average US women's size is 7. If you need a size not listed, choose Custom and add your size in the order notes.
- Origin: Handcrafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
How This Raw Rose Quartz Ring Is Made
Each stone is hand-selected before the work begins. The raw rose quartz is prepared and placed into a copper wire base, then submerged in an electrolyte bath where a low electrical current slowly deposits copper ions onto the surface, building up the setting layer by layer over many hours. The result is a bezel that grows around the stone rather than being pressed or cast. Because electroforming is an organic process, each ring will have its own surface character: subtle texture variation, depth, and warmth that no machine can replicate.
A Note on Stone Variation
Raw rose quartz varies in color from nearly white to a soft dusty pink depending on the individual crystal. The stone you receive will be similar in tone and size to those shown, but it will be its own unique piece. This is the nature of working with raw, uncut gemstones, and it is part of what makes each ring one of a kind.
Care
Rose quartz is relatively durable but raw edges can be vulnerable to hard impacts. Avoid dropping or knocking the stone against hard surfaces. Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store dry, ideally in a soft pouch or box. Bright copper will develop a natural patina over time. Polish with a jewelry cloth to restore shine. Antique copper will brighten at the high points with wear, deepening the contrast and character of the finish. Note: copper may cause temporary skin discoloration in some wearers, which is a normal reaction to pure copper jewelry.

About Electroforming
Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.
Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.

Care & Patina
Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
Copper Protection
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
