Pearl Crescent Moon Open Ring — Copper Jewelry by Blackbird & Sage
Hold the hush of desert twilight in your hand. This Pearl Crescent Moon Open Ring blends the warm glow of electroformed copper with a luminous 6mm pearl, evoking ritual, moonlight, and quiet, grounding energy. Handcrafted with a botanical, bohemian aesthetic, the piece feels at once delicate and elemental—made to comfort, to center, and to call you back to the earth.
- Stone: 6mm authentic freshwater pearl — polished to a soft, inner glow.
- Metal: Copper, electroformed for organic texture and lasting patina.
- Size & fit: Open, adjustable design—wear it on multiple fingers or resize gently for comfort.
- Style: Crescent moon motif with botanical-inspired textures; bohemian and timeless.
- Handmade process: Electroforming technique that melds metal and gem into one flowing form, finished by hand for unique character.
- Use case: A talisman for ritual, a grounding everyday ring, or a thoughtful gift for birthdays and milestone moments.
Handcrafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico, this ring is created for spiritual, free-spirited individuals who seek jewelry that honors nature, ritual, and personal stories. The copper warms with wear, the pearl reflects inner light, and each piece carries the imprint of the maker’s hands.
Wear it as a talisman at your throat of intention, layer it with other favorites for a gathered, bohemian stack, or gift it to someone who walks the wild path—let the crescent moon guide the way.

JEWELRY LACQUER OPTION
All of my copper rings are crafted without a lacquer coating by default, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty and potential healing properties of copper. For those who prefer a protective finish, I also offer the application of a high-quality jewelry lacquer to help reduce skin contact and slow patina development. This optional protective coating can be added to any copper ring for $5.
HELP WITH RING SIZING / CHOOSING A CUSTOM RING SIZE
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR RING SIZE AT HOME:
There are a couple of easy ways you can measure your ring size at home.
CUSTOM RING SIZES:
If your ring size isn’t listed, choose Custom and add your exact size in the Order Special Instructions at checkout. I offer handmade rings in sizes 1–16, including quarter and half sizes, so you can get a perfect, personalized fit.
LEAD TIME & SHIPPING
Each piece is handcrafted with care, and processing times vary depending on the design. Ready-to-ship items leave the studio within 1–3 business days, while made-to-order designs take 3–5 business days before shipping. You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your order is on its way.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To keep your electroformed jewelry beautiful, avoid wearing it while swimming, showering, or exercising, as water and chemicals can damage both metal and stone. Store your ring in a cool, dry place, ideally in a jewelry pouch, to protect it from scratches and moisture. Copper naturally develops a patina over time — you can let it age gracefully or gently polish it with a soft cloth if you prefer a brighter finish.
MATERIALS & METALS
Each ring is created through the process of electroforming, where pure copper is bonded layer by layer around the stone and design. Copper is the base metal for all of my electroformed rings, chosen for its earthy beauty and grounding energy. Some pieces may be finished with patinas, sealants, or optional jewelry lacquer for added protection.
Every ring is one-of-a-kind, with textures and details that naturally form during this organic process.
STONE & CRYSTAL DETAILS
I work with a variety of raw and polished crystals, gemstones, and cabochons, each hand-selected for its beauty and unique energy. Because every stone is natural, variations in color, shape, and pattern are expected — and celebrated. These organic differences ensure that your ring is truly one-of-a-kind, carrying both the artistry of nature and the intention of handcrafted design.
