How This Handmade Silver Kyanite Ring Is Made

Each ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every kyanite blade for its natural striations and unique form, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques before applying a bright silver plate finish. Copper grows directly around the stone through an electrical process, forming the band organically. No mass production. Every ring is one of a kind.

A Note on Stone Variation

Blue kyanite blades vary in size, shade, and striation pattern. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but beautifully, unmistakably its own.

Care

Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Polish with a soft cloth to maintain shine. Silver plate can develop a warm patina over time. Blue kyanite is a relatively soft stone, handle with care and avoid dropping or hitting against hard surfaces.
