These full circle brass hoop earrings are named for what they are, a complete circle, no break, no clasp, just the oldest form in jewelry held in warm hammered brass. The circle has meant wholeness and continuity across cultures for as long as people have worn adornment. Here it is hand-hammered into an organic, textured surface that catches light differently at every angle. For the person who finds meaning in simple forms and wants their everyday jewelry to carry a little of that.
The circle is one of the oldest symbols in human adornment, no beginning, no end. Wear it when you need to feel whole and steady.
Why Brass
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, warm-toned and durable, with a natural golden color that develops a living patina over time. Long used in jewelry and metalwork across cultures for its warmth and workability. Chosen for its earthy golden tone, its weight and presence, and its ability to be shaped and textured by hand. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful metal with a warmth that fits real life.

How These Handmade Brass Earrings Are Made
Each pair of full circle brass hoop earrings is made by hand in my small Santa Fe studio. I shape and hammer each hoop individually for its organic texture and circular form. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every handmade brass earring pair from this studio is one of a kind.
Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Polish with a soft cloth to maintain brightness or let the patina deepen naturally. Brass develops a warm, lived-in tone over time that many customers love. If you prefer brightness, a gentle brass polish will restore the original shine.

About Electroforming
Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.
Each crystal is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All earrings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.
Wearing & Comfort
The ear wires are made from hypoallergenic niobium, sterling silver or brass to ensure safe, comfortable wear for most skin types. Each earring is lightweight enough for daily use yet strong enough to withstand regular movement. Avoid tugging or sleeping in your earrings to preserve their form.
Most ear wires can be interchangable, message me if you need a different option.
Materials & Metals
Each pair begins in raw metal — shaped by hand, flame, and patience. Every element carries its own spirit and weight:
Copper — The metal of grounding and renewal. Warm to the skin, it patinas with time, deepening in tone as it absorbs the rhythm of your days.
Brass — The alloy of courage and clarity. Golden in hue, it evokes sunlight and strength — a vibrant, bright energy made to catch the eye.
Bronze — The metal of endurance and memory. Rich, aged, and steady, it holds the story of fire — an ancient warmth that honors both strength and stillness.
Silver — The mirror metal. Cool, luminous, reflective — it carries the energy of the moon, balancing intuition with calm precision.
Each metal is chosen intentionally, allowing you to wear what resonates with your energy and practice.
Care & Patina
Remove before showering or swimming. Use a soft cloth; avoid abrasive polishing on patinated copper.
Copper Protection
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
Details:
- Optional upgrade available for $5
