Warm honey amber, translucent and glowing from within, cradled in the curve of an electroformed copper crescent. Amber catches light like nothing else, deep orange and golden and alive, and set against the warm antique copper it reads rich and ancient in the best way. This is a ring you notice on your own hand. Small enough to stack, present enough to wear alone, and the kind of piece that feels like it has always belonged to you.
Amber is associated with warmth, protection, and ancient wisdom. It carries the energy of the sun and is connected to the solar plexus chakra, confidence, vitality, and personal power. Wear it when you need to feel grounded, warm, and clear.
Why Amber
Amber is fossilized tree resin, formed over millions of years from the sap of ancient forests. Most amber used in jewelry comes from the Baltic region, though deposits are found worldwide. Its warm color ranges from pale golden yellow through deep cognac and rich orange-brown, often with inclusions that tell the story of its origin. Amber has been worn as adornment and protective talisman across cultures for thousands of years, one of the oldest gem materials in human history. No mystical claims. Just a genuinely ancient and beautiful material with a meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Amber Moon Ring Is Made
Each amber cabochon is hand-selected for its depth of color and warm translucency before the copper crescent is built up around it through an electrolytic electroforming process. The copper grows organically around the stone and setting, creating a granular textured surface that is entirely unique to each piece. The antique finish deepens the warmth of the copper and brings out the contrast between the metal and the glowing amber.
A Note on Stone Variation
Amber is a natural material and each cabochon will vary in depth of color, from pale golden honey through rich cognac and deep orange-brown. Natural inclusions may be present and are part of the stone's character. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind.
Care
Avoid prolonged exposure to strong sunlight, which can make amber brittle over time. Store away from direct light when not wearing. Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions, perfumes, or chemicals. Store dry. The antique copper finish will develop a natural patina over time, deepening the character of the piece.

About Electroforming
Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.
Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.

Care & Patina
Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
Copper Protection
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
