This large raw amethyst necklace is the kind of piece that stops a conversation. A raw amethyst crystal, 2.5 to 3 inches of deep purple with natural inclusions and uneven edges, is encased in black-finished electroformed copper and hung on an adjustable cord so it rests exactly where you want it. - Stone: Natural raw amethyst, approximately 63 to 76mm (2.5 to 3 inch). Deep purple with natural inclusions. Each stone is unique in color, size, and form.
- Metal: Electroformed copper with black finish. The dark setting deepens the contrast against the purple stone.

How This Handmade Crystal Necklace Is Made
Each large raw amethyst necklace is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. Copper grows directly around the raw crystal through an electroforming process, then is finished in black to deepen the setting and contrast. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every piece is one of a kind.
A Note on Stone Variation
Because these are natural raw amethyst stones, each piece varies significantly in color depth, size, and form. The stone you receive will be unique.
Care

Every piece is shaped by hand through the slow process of electroforming — a melding of earth, metal, and time that creates unique textures and forms.
All metals are nickel-free and sealed for comfortable, daily wear. Slight variations in color, texture, or patina are natural signs of the handmade process — each one-of-a-kind, just like its wearer.
Chain Options
Necklaces are available in a variety of lengths to fit every ritual and style:
- 16–18 inches – sits high at the collarbone
- 20–22 inches – a classic mid-chest length
- 24–30 inches – longer talisman style for layering

All metals and leather will naturally age with time and wear — it’s part of their alchemy.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth. To preserve patina or aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place. Avoid prolonged contact with water, lotion, or perfume.
