An arrowhead on a hoop. Grounded and a little wild. Each carnelian arrowhead is electroformed in copper, the metal growing directly around the raw knapped stone edge, then suspended from a hand-hammered sterling silver hoop with a textured surface that catches the light differently at every angle. The sterling silver ear wire has a small copper bead at the base, tying the two metals together. These wear easily, move well, and make a statement without trying too hard. Made to order.
Carnelian is associated with courage, vitality, and creative fire. A sacral chakra stone. Wear it when you need to feel energized and purposeful.
Why Carnelian
Carnelian is a variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline quartz, colored by iron oxide inclusions ranging from pale orange to deep red-brown. The banded variety shows natural white and orange layering formed as silica-rich fluids deposited in ancient rock cavities. Long associated with courage, action, and the sacral chakra (Svadhisthana). A traditional stone of warriors and leaders, and the birthstone of July. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful ancient material with a meaning that fits real life.

- Stone: Genuine carnelian agate arrowhead, knapped flint style, banded amber-orange with natural variation. Each stone is unique.
- Metal: Electroformed copper following the raw chipped edge of each arrowhead organically.
- Hoop: Hand-hammered textured sterling silver, approximately 2 inches diameter.
- Ear wire: Sterling silver with a small 3mm copper ball bead at the base.
- Total drop: approximately 2.75 inches (7cm).

Because these are natural knapped stones, each arrowhead varies in shape, color, and banding pattern. The pair you receive will be similar in character to those shown, chosen for its beauty and quality.
Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions or perfumes. Avoid prolonged sunlight. Store dry. Polish copper with a soft cloth if desired. Sterling silver can be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth.

All earrings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.

Wearing & Comfort
The ear wires are made from hypoallergenic niobium, sterling silver or brass to ensure safe, comfortable wear for most skin types. Each earring is lightweight enough for daily use yet strong enough to withstand regular movement. Avoid tugging or sleeping in your earrings to preserve their form.
Most ear wires can be interchangable, message me if you need a different option.
