Handcrafted Carnelian Ring
This carnelian ring features a genuine carnelian cabochon with vibrant orange-red hues—a stone of creative courage, passion, and grounded vitality. I electroform each piece in my Santa Fe studio, a meditative process where copper is slowly deposited onto the carnelian crystal and organic elements over many hours, creating an organic, nature-inspired design. The copper develops a living patina that evolves beautifully with you.

Care Instructions
Carnelian is relatively durable but treat this handcrafted ring gently to avoid impacts. The copper will develop a beautiful living patina over time—polish with a soft cloth if you prefer brightness. Cleanse energetically by placing in sunlight (carnelian loves solar energy), on selenite, or with sage smoke. Carnelian is a stone of creative courage, so cleanse your carnelian ring regularly to maintain its vibrant, empowering energy.
Crystal Lore
Carnelian, also known as the "Stone of Courage" and "Artist's Stone," has been treasured for thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians called carnelian the "setting sun" and wore it for courage and protection. Warriors carried carnelian into battle for bravery, while artists used it to ignite creative fire. The vibrant orange-red color connects to the sacral and solar plexus chakras, awakening creativity and personal power. This carnelian ring brings powerful metaphysical properties:
- Creative Courage: Ignites the courage to express yourself creatively and share your gifts with the world
- Passion & Vitality: Energizes your body and spirit with passionate, life-affirming energy
- Grounded Action: Motivates you to take bold action on your creative visions while keeping you grounded
- Sacral & Solar Plexus Chakra Activation: Awakens creativity and passion while strengthening personal power and confidence
- Creative Confidence: Builds the confidence to pursue your creative dreams without fear or self-doubt
- Emotional Balance: Releases fear and self-doubt, replacing them with warmth, confidence, and joy
- Protection: Creates a protective shield around your energy, especially during creative work
When to Wear Your Talisman
Wear this carnelian ring during creative work that requires courage and bold expression, when you need confidence to share your creative gifts, or anytime you want to ignite your creative courage. It's perfect for artists, performers, writers, and anyone who needs the courage to create authentically. Many customers wear their carnelian rings daily as creativity talismans that keep them courageously creative, passionate, and vitally grounded.
Each carnelian ring is handcrafted as a unique talisman in Santa Fe. Your carnelian ring arrives ready to ignite your creative courage and fuel your passionate spirit.
The Metal
The Metal
Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to
balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in
presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability
to return to stillness.
The Stones
The Stones
Every stone is hand-chosen for its raw beauty — untouched, uncut, and full of natural detail.
Electroforming allows the metal to flow organically around the crystal, preserving its unique shape while creating a secure, enduring setting.
Minor differences in tone, texture, or patina are intentional — they reflect the individuality of both the material and the maker.
A Micro-Ritual For You
A Micro-Ritual For You
Before slipping your ring on, take a slow breath.
Let your thumb rest against the metal and remember what you wish to carry — grounding, protection, clarity, or calm.
Wear it as a small act of intention, a steady anchor that reminds you to return to yourself throughout the day.

Measure Your Ring Size At Home
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR RING SIZE AT HOME:
There are a couple of easy ways you can measure your ring size at home.
How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home
Some of the easiest methods to measure your ring size at home is by using a measuring tape or a piece of string or using a ring you already own.
✨ Option 1: Use a Ring You Already Own
- Choose a ring that fits the intended finger.
- Measure the inside diameter of the ring with a ruler (in millimeters).
- Compare the measurement to a standard ring size chart (for example: 16.5 mm = US size 6).
✨ Option 2: String or Paper Strip Method
- Cut a thin strip of paper (about 5 6 mm wide) or use a piece of string.
- Wrap it snugly (but not tightly) around the base of your finger.
- Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in millimeters.
- Match the circumference to a ring size chart.
✨ Tips for the Best Fit
- Measure your finger at the end of the day, when it’s largest.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or hot.
- If you’re between sizes, go with the larger size for comfort.
- Wider bands can feel tighter consider sizing up 1/4 1/2 size.
If you’d like, tell me how you measured (inside of a ring you already own or the string/paper method), just send me the exact measurement in millimeters, and I’ll confirm the correct size for you.
Prefer something more accurate? I also offer plastic ring sizers in my shop - a reusable tool you can keep on hand for finding the perfect fit every time.
Sizing Guide & Fit
Each electroformed ring is unique in form and width.
Because the copper adds subtle thickness during formation, sizes may vary by approximately¼ to ½ size.
If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up slightly for wider bands.
Need a specific size? Custom sizing may be available for select designs. Choose Custom where available and add your preferred ring size in Order Special Instructions at checkout. We offer handmade rings in sizes 1–16, including quarter and half sizes, so you can get a perfect, personalized fit.
Do I Need Copper Protection?
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
Details:
- Optional upgrade available for $6
- Applied directly to your copper ring, cuff, or bracelet before shipping
- Clear finish — no change to the look or feel of your piece
Care & Patina
Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your ring while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.

Orders ship within 3–5 ritual days via USPS, and you’ll receive tracking once your piece is on its way.
Unworn rings may be exchanged or returned within 30 days of delivery.
