Garnet Ring — Handcrafted Copper Talisman Jewelry
Handcrafted in copper with a teardrop garnet cabochon, this talisman channels grounding vitality and focused energy for your everyday ritual adornment.
This isn’t just jewelry. It’s a talisman for the woman who moves through the world with purpose — grounded, radiant, and alive in her strength.
Materials & Process
Each ring begins with a solid copper band that is hand-textured and shaped for a cool, weighty presence on the finger. Using a slow electroforming process, copper is grown around the 7 x 5 mm teardrop garnet cabochon, preserving the stone’s natural silhouette and raw character while creating an organic, sculpted finish. Pieces are hand-finished by the artisan, sealed to protect the patina, and polished to a satin-smooth touch. This is handcrafted copper jewelry built to be worn daily as ritual adornment and a meaningful spiritual gift.
Crystal Properties
Garnet is a healing crystal known for its warming, grounding energy and its ability to ignite courage, protection, and focused intent. As a January birthstone and a supportive zodiac stone for steadying practice, garnet encourages emotional balance, vitality, and commitment to presence. In crystal jewelry, garnet works as a metaphysical talisman to restore confidence, sharpen focus, and sustain energy through life's small rituals.
Purpose & Meaning
This handmade crystal talisman is designed as a companion for daily ritual—not perfection, but presence. Wear it to steady breath before work, to anchor intention during meditation, or as a quiet reminder of your own courage in the world. Copper’s conductive warmth amplifies the garnet’s life-affirming energy, connecting earth materials to mindful living and offering a practical, empowering tool for grounding, protection, and clarity.

Each talisman is one-of-a-kind, born of earth and alchemy — made to steady your energy and remind you to return to your center.
The Metal
The Metal
Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to
balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in
presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability
to return to stillness.
The Stones
The Stones
Every stone is hand-chosen for its raw beauty — untouched, uncut, and full of natural detail.
Electroforming allows the metal to flow organically around the crystal, preserving its unique shape while creating a secure, enduring setting.
Minor differences in tone, texture, or patina are intentional — they reflect the individuality of both the material and the maker.
A Micro-Ritual For You
A Micro-Ritual For You
Before slipping your ring on, take a slow breath.
Let your thumb rest against the metal and remember what you wish to carry — grounding, protection, clarity, or calm.
Wear it as a small act of intention, a steady anchor that reminds you to return to yourself throughout the day.

Measure Your Ring Size At Home
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR RING SIZE AT HOME:
There are a couple of easy ways you can measure your ring size at home.
How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home
Some of the easiest methods to measure your ring size at home is by using a measuring tape or a piece of string or using a ring you already own.
✨ Option 1: Use a Ring You Already Own
- Choose a ring that fits the intended finger.
- Measure the inside diameter of the ring with a ruler (in millimeters).
- Compare the measurement to a standard ring size chart (for example: 16.5 mm = US size 6).
✨ Option 2: String or Paper Strip Method
- Cut a thin strip of paper (about 5 6 mm wide) or use a piece of string.
- Wrap it snugly (but not tightly) around the base of your finger.
- Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in millimeters.
- Match the circumference to a ring size chart.
✨ Tips for the Best Fit
- Measure your finger at the end of the day, when it’s largest.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or hot.
- If you’re between sizes, go with the larger size for comfort.
- Wider bands can feel tighter consider sizing up 1/4 1/2 size.
If you’d like, tell me how you measured (inside of a ring you already own or the string/paper method), just send me the exact measurement in millimeters, and I’ll confirm the correct size for you.
Prefer something more accurate? I also offer plastic ring sizers in my shop - a reusable tool you can keep on hand for finding the perfect fit every time.
Sizing Guide & Fit
Each electroformed ring is unique in form and width.
Because the copper adds subtle thickness during formation, sizes may vary by approximately¼ to ½ size.
If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up slightly for wider bands.
Need a specific size? Custom sizing may be available for select designs. Choose Custom where available and add your preferred ring size in Order Special Instructions at checkout. We offer handmade rings in sizes 1–16, including quarter and half sizes, so you can get a perfect, personalized fit.
Do I Need Copper Protection?
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
Details:
- Optional upgrade available for $6
- Applied directly to your copper ring, cuff, or bracelet before shipping
- Clear finish — no change to the look or feel of your piece
Care & Patina
Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your ring while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
Lead Time, Shipping & Returns
Each ring is made to order and packaged with care in eco-conscious materials.
Orders ship within 3–5 ritual days via USPS, and you’ll receive tracking once your piece is on its way.
Unworn rings may be exchanged or returned within 30 days of delivery.
Custom or personalized pieces are final sale.

I was so surprised my ring and necklace arrived so fast, even with the holiday season going on. What a sweet surprise with my red teardrop Garnet ring -- I just love the color red that Garnets are, and together with the bright copper band it looks so beautiful. I am very happy with this order and can't wait to order again.
