This labradorite crescent moon ring features a genuine 4mm labradorite cabochon set in a crescent moon copper setting, its surface shifting between deep grey and flashes of blue-green depending on the light — a phenomenon called labradorescence. Warm copper grows around the stone in an open adjustable band. A grounding, intuitive presence for daily wear. A piece that catches the light differently every time you look at it.
Labradorite is associated with intuition, inner knowing, and quiet clarity. A third eye chakra stone. Wear it when you need to trust yourself.
Why Labradorite
Labradorite is a naturally occurring feldspar mineral, its distinctive blue-green flash the result of light scattering between microscopic layers within the stone — a phenomenon called labradorescence, named after Labrador, Canada, where it was first described in the 18th century. Long associated with intuition and inner clarity, and with the third eye chakra (Ajna). It is chosen for its extraordinary optical character, its smooth cabochon form, and its grounding, clarifying energy. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Labradorite Ring Is Made
Each labradorite crescent moon ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every stone for its flash and depth, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around the stone through an electrical process, forming the crescent moon setting and open band organically. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every ring from this studio is one of a kind.

Select your US ring size at checkout. The open band allows for a small amount of adjustment. Sizes 5–9 are listed as variants; need a size outside that range? Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Labradorite is relatively durable — the copper is the part to protect. Let the antique patina deepen naturally with wear, or polish gently with a soft cloth to brighten.

About Electroforming
Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.
Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.

Care & Patina
Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
Copper Protection
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
Details:
