This raw chrome diopside ring features a genuine raw crystal in vivid emerald green, its natural unpolished surface small and saturated, as warm copper wraps the stone completely. Why Raw Chrome Diopside
Chrome diopside is a naturally occurring calcium magnesium silicate, its vivid green color the result of trace chromium — the same element that gives emerald its color. Found primarily in Siberia, sometimes called the "Russian Emerald." Long associated with the heart and with the grounding energy of the earth. This version features the stone in its raw, unpolished form — small, natural, and organic. It is chosen for its saturated green depth, its raw natural form, and its grounding, heart-opening energy. No mystical claims. Just a rare and beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.

- Stone: Natural raw chrome diopside, 4–6mm, vivid emerald green. Each stone is unique. Fully encased in copper.
- Metal: Electroformed copper. Bright (warm, polished shine) or Antique (rich patina, organic depth).

How This Handmade Gemstone Ring Is Made
Each chrome diopside ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every stone for its color saturation and natural form, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around the stone through an electrical process, forming the band organically. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every handmade gemstone ring from this studio is one of a kind.
Sizing

Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Chrome diopside is relatively soft — treat gently to avoid impacts and scratches. Polish copper with a soft cloth if desired.

Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.

Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
