Peridot is a naturally occurring magnesium iron silicate, its vivid lime-green color the result of iron — one of the few gemstones that occurs in only one color. Long associated with clarity and optimism. It is chosen for its bright green depth, its raw natural form, and its uplifting, grounding energy. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.

- Stone: Natural raw peridot, 4–6mm, vibrant lime green. Each stone is unique in shape and surface. Fully encased in copper.
- Metal: Electroformed copper. Bright (warm, polished shine) or Antique (rich patina, organic depth).

- Size: US 5–9 available as listed; custom sizes US 4–15 available — select “Custom” and enter your size in the order notes at checkout.

How This Handmade Gemstone Ring Is Made
Each raw peridot ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every stone for its color vibrancy and natural form, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around the stone through an electrical process, forming the band organically. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every handmade gemstone ring from this studio is one of a kind.
Sizing
Select your US ring size at checkout. Sizes 5–9 are listed as variants; need a size outside that range? Select “Custom” and enter your size (US 4–15) in the order notes. Between sizes? Size up for comfort. Need help? Email hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com and I’ll guide you through it.
Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Polish with a soft cloth to maintain shine (Bright finish) or let the patina deepen naturally (Antique finish). Peridot is relatively soft at 6.5–7 Mohs — treat gently to avoid impacts and scratches.

Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.

Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
