Seraphinite is a rare variety of clinochlore found primarily in Siberia, its distinctive silvery-green feathered patterns the result of chatoyant mica inclusions within the stone. Long associated with peace and spiritual connection. It is chosen for its deep forest green depth, its extraordinary feathered surface, and its calm, centering energy. No mystical claims. Just a rare and beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Gemstone Ring Is Made
Each seraphinite ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every stone for its feathered patterning and color depth, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around the stone through an electrical process, forming the band organically. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every handmade gemstone ring from this studio is one of a kind.
Sizing
Select your US ring size at checkout. Sizes 5–9 are listed as variants; need a size outside that range? Select “Custom” and enter your size (US 4–15) in the order notes. Between sizes? Size up for comfort — the large stone requires a little more room to slide over the knuckle. Need help? Email hello@blackbirdsagestudio.com and I’ll guide you through it.
Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Seraphinite is a relatively soft stone — treat gently to avoid impacts and scratches. Polish copper with a soft cloth if desired.

Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.
