Amethyst is relatively durable (Mohs hardness 7) but treat this handcrafted ring gently to avoid impacts and scratches. Remove before physical activities, cleaning, or bathing. There are a couple of easy ways you can measure your ring size at home.
How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home
Some of the easiest methods to measure your ring size at home is by using a measuring tape or a piece of string or using a ring you already own.
✨ Option 1: Use a Ring You Already Own
- Choose a ring that fits the intended finger.
- Measure the inside diameter of the ring with a ruler (in millimeters).
- Compare the measurement to a standard ring size chart (for example: 16.5 mm = US size 6).
✨ Option 2: String or Paper Strip Method
- Cut a thin strip of paper (about 5 6 mm wide) or use a piece of string.
- Wrap it snugly (but not tightly) around the base of your finger.
- Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in millimeters.
- Match the circumference to a ring size chart.

- Measure your finger at the end of the day, when it’s largest.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or hot.
- If you’re between sizes, go with the larger size for comfort.
