Why Sunstone
Sunstone is a naturally occurring feldspar mineral, its warm golden-orange color and distinctive glittery flash called aventurescence the result of tiny platelets of hematite or goethite reflecting light within the stone. Found primarily in Oregon, Norway, and India. Oregon sunstone is the official state gemstone of Oregon. Long associated with joy, vitality, and the sacral chakra (Svadhisthana). No mystical claims. Just a beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.
Dainty Sunstone Stacking Ring: Materials & Specifications
- Stone: Natural tumbled sunstone, warm peachy-golden-orange, smooth polished surface. 3–5mm. Each stone is unique.
- Metal: Electroformed copper. Bright (warm, polished shine) or Antique (rich patina, organic depth) — select your finish at checkout.
- Band: Thin, delicate band. Comfortable for everyday wear and stacking.
- Chakra: Sacral chakra (Svadhisthana).
- Birthstone: Associated with Leo (July 23 – August 22).

How This Handmade Sunstone Ring Is Made
Each ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every tumbled sunstone for its color and warmth, then set it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around the stone through an electrical process, forming the band organically. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every ring from this studio is one of a kind.
Sizing
Select your US ring size at checkout. Sizes 3–10 including half sizes are listed as variants. Need a size outside that range? Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Bright copper: wipe with a soft cloth to maintain shine. Antique copper: let the patina deepen naturally with wear, or polish gently to brighten.

About Electroforming
Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.
Each piece is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All pieces are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.

Care & Wear
Copper will naturally develop a patina over time, a mark of age, energy, and individuality. To restore brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a simple lemon-and-salt paste. To preserve its aged character, simply wipe clean and let the color deepen with wear.
With a little mindful care, your jewelry will stay beautiful for years to come:
- Remove before showering, swimming, or sleeping.
- Store in a dry pouch or jewelry box to slow natural patina.
- Wipe metals gently with a soft jewelry cloth after each wear.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and hair products.
- Crystals are natural and can be delicate—handle with care to avoid chips or cracks.
- Copper and brass will naturally darken over time. If you prefer a brighter finish, polish lightly with a jewelry cloth.
