Freshwater Pearl Chevron Ring | June Birthstone | Antique Copper Electroformed | Made to Order

Seven freshwater pearls, creamy and luminous as moonlight, arranged in a V and set in dark electroformed copper. There is something quietly powerful about pearl against dark oxidized metal, the softness of one against the weight of the other, the way they make each other stranger and more beautiful. This ring was made for the ones who carry both softness and strength and want their jewelry to hold that contradiction.
Pearl is associated with purity, wisdom, and emotional calm. It is the birthstone for June and is connected to the crown chakra. Wear it when you need to feel centered and clear.
Why Pearl
Freshwater pearls are formed inside mussels in rivers and lakes, primarily in China, when an irritant is coated in layers of nacre over months or years. Unlike saltwater pearls, freshwater pearls are almost entirely nacre, which gives them a deep, soft luster that catches light differently than any gemstone. Each pearl is slightly different in shape, size, and surface, which is what makes them genuinely natural. Pearl is the birthstone for June and is associated with the crown chakra, emotional wisdom, and calm clarity. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful organic gem with a meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Pearl Ring Is Made
Each pearl is hand-selected for luster and character before being set into an electroformed copper band built up around it through an electrolytic process. No casting, no molds — the copper grows directly around each pearl, creating a setting that is completely unique to each piece. The chevron shape is formed by hand, and the antique finish is applied to deepen the oxidation and bring out the texture of the electroformed surface.
A Note on Pearl Variation
Freshwater pearls are natural and each piece will vary slightly in tone, shape, and surface texture. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind.
Care
Pearls are sensitive to acids, perfumes, and lotions. Put this ring on last, after applying any products. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing. Remove before swimming, bathing, or washing hands. Store dry and away from other jewelry that could scratch the surface. The antique copper finish will develop a natural patina over time, which only deepens the character of the piece.

About Electroforming
Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.
Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.

Care & Patina
Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
Copper Protection
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
