How This Handmade Pearl Ring Is Made

Each pearl is hand-selected for surface quality and natural luster before the ring is built up around it through an electrolytic copper electroforming process. The copper grows directly around each pearl, creating a setting completely unique to each piece. The chevron shape is formed by hand, then passed through the silver bath multiple times to build up a thick electroformed silver layer. The recessed areas are oxidized for contrast and depth.

Freshwater pearls are organic and each piece will vary in surface texture, shape, and undertone. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind.

Care

Pearls are sensitive to acids, perfumes, and chemicals. Put this ring on last, after all lotions, perfumes, and hairspray. Wipe gently after wearing. Remove before swimming, bathing, or any activity involving water or chemicals. Store dry and separately from harder stones that could scratch the surface. A light buff with a silver polishing cloth will restore the bright silver surfaces if desired, but avoid any chemical silver dips which could damage the pearls.
