How This Mystic Topaz Ring Is Made

Each ring is made to order in my Santa Fe studio. I select the stone for its color and facets, then slowly build copper around it through electroforming. The split shoulders create open space alongside the stone, while the gently smoothed copper keeps the setting organic rather than machine-perfect. An antique patina gives the copper depth, with warm highlights along raised areas.

A Note on Stone Variation

Rainbow reflections vary with lighting, viewing angle and the individual stone. Your ring will have its own balance of color and copper texture. This listing is for one ring.

Care

Protect the stone's surface coating from abrasion, harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners and steam. Remove before swimming, showering or applying lotions and perfumes. Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Keep copper polishing products away from the stone. Store separately in a dry place. The antique copper patina evolves naturally with wear.
