A raw lepidolite chunk, capped in electroformed copper and suspended from a small hammered copper circle connector on a single bright copper chain. The stone is pale grey-green with a sparkly druzy crystalline surface — each one a different shape, a different arrangement of tiny crystal points catching the light. The hammered circle adds a quiet architectural element between chain and stone. Made by hand in Santa Fe, New Mexico, each necklace is one of a kind.
Lepidolite is associated with calm, emotional balance, and easing transitions. A stone for the moments when you need to slow down and breathe. Wear it when you need to feel steady.
Why Lepidolite
Lepidolite is a lithium-bearing mica mineral that forms in layered, flaky masses with a natural sparkle. The pale grey-green color comes from its mineral composition — iron, manganese, and trace elements shifting the tone from stone to stone. The druzy surface forms when tiny quartz crystals grow across the surface of the host stone, creating that characteristic sparkle. It is associated with Libra and the heart and crown chakras. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful, ancient mineral with a meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Lepidolite Necklace Is Made
Each lepidolite chunk is hand-selected for its natural druzy surface and color, then electroformed in copper — a slow process where copper is grown molecule by molecule directly onto the top of the stone. The hammered copper circle connector is shaped and textured by hand before assembly. The chain, connector, and pendant are assembled by hand. No two necklaces are identical.
A Note on Stone Variation
Raw lepidolite varies in color from pale grey-green to soft lavender-grey, and each stone's druzy surface is unique in its crystal density and sparkle. The exact shape and size of the stone will vary. This variation is the nature of the stone and what makes each piece one of a kind.
Care
Lepidolite is a relatively soft mica mineral — avoid hard impacts and scratching. Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes. Copper will develop a natural patina over time — embrace it or gently polish with a soft cloth. Store in a dry place.

Materials & Metals
Each necklace is handcrafted from raw copper, and may include elements of brass, bronze, silver, or stainless steel, paired with carefully chosen stones, crystals, or natural elements.
Every piece is shaped by hand through the slow process of electroforming — a melding of earth, metal, and time that creates unique textures and forms.
All metals are nickel-free and sealed for comfortable, daily wear. Slight variations in color, texture, or patina are natural signs of the handmade process — each one-of-a-kind, just like its wearer.
Chain Options
Necklaces are available in a variety of lengths to fit every ritual and style:
- 16–18 inches – sits high at the collarbone
- 20–22 inches – a classic mid-chest length
- 24–30 inches – longer talisman style for layering
Chain styles may include cable, rolo, or oxidized link, chosen to complement each pendant’s design.
Leather Option
Select designs feature a soft, durable leather cord, fully adjustable from 12 to 24 inches.
Leather cords offer a grounded, natural feel and can be worn short as a choker or long for layering — making them versatile for both men’s and women’s styles.
Care & Maintenance
All metals and leather will naturally age with time and wear — it’s part of their alchemy.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth. To preserve patina or aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place. Avoid prolonged contact with water, lotion, or perfume.
Remove before showering or swimming. Use a soft cloth; avoid abrasive polishing on patinated copper.
Copper Protection
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
