About Moonstone

Moonstone is a traditional June birthstone. Named for its moon-like glow, moonstone displays adularescence—a soft, billowy light that moves across the stone. Historically associated with intuition, new beginnings, and inner clarity.

How It's Made

Created through electroforming, where copper grows slowly around the stone over several hours. The result is organic texture and a secure bezel setting. Hand-finished with an antique patina in our Santa Fe studio. No molds, no mass production.

Antique Copper Finish

This ring features a darker, vintage-look patina applied during creation. It maintains a rustic, aged appearance with minimal care. The antique finish gives the ring an earthy, timeless look.

Sizing

This ring is size 6 and cannot be resized. Electroformed rings are not adjustable—resizing would compromise the stone setting and copper structure.

Care

Copper naturally develops a warm patina over time. The antique finish already has a darker patina applied. To maintain the finish, polish gently with a soft cloth. Remove before washing hands, showering, or applying lotions. Store in the included anti-tarnish bag.

Want to slow patina development? Add a protective jewelry lacquer using the add-on option above.

About Electroforming

Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.

Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.

For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.

How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home

Some of the easiest methods to measure your ring size at home is by using a measuring tape or a piece of string or using a ring you already own.

✨ Option 1: Use a Ring You Already Own

  1. Choose a ring that fits the intended finger.
  2. Measure the inside diameter of the ring with a ruler (in millimeters).
  3. Compare the measurement to a standard ring size chart (for example: 16.5 mm = US size 6).

Option 2: String or Paper Strip Method

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper (about 5 6 mm wide) or use a piece of string.
  2. Wrap it snugly (but not tightly) around the base of your finger.
  3. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in millimeters.
  4. Match the circumference to a ring size chart.

Tips for the Best Fit

  • Measure your finger at the end of the day, when it’s largest.
  • Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or hot.
  • If you’re between sizes, go with the larger size for comfort.
  • Wider bands can feel tighter consider sizing up 1/4 1/2 size.

If you’d like, tell me how you measured (inside of a ring you already own or the string/paper method), just send me the exact measurement in millimeters, and I’ll confirm the correct size for you. Alternatively, you can look for your ring size at www.ringsizes.co

Care & Patina

Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.

Copper Protection

Embrace the Patina

Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.

Why add lacquer?

  • Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
  • Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
  • Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
  • Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry

Details:

  • Optional upgrade available for $5

  • Clear finish — no change to the look or feel of your piece
