There is no single color in a mystic topaz. There are all of them at once, shifting from gold to violet to teal to rose depending on how the light hits it. This 7x4mm faceted teardrop is set in electroformed copper, the metal grown directly around the stone in a low organic bezel that follows the teardrop shape. It is a statement piece that does not announce itself loudly. It just catches the light and lets people notice on their own.

Why Mystic Topaz
Mystic topaz is natural white topaz that has been treated with a thin metallic coating applied to the pavilion (the underside of the stone), creating the signature rainbow play-of-color effect. The coating refracts light into a full spectrum of color that shifts with every angle. The base stone is genuine topaz, a silicate mineral with a Mohs hardness of 8, making it one of the more durable gemstones available. December birthstone. No mystical claims. - Stone: Rainbow mystic topaz, 7x4mm faceted teardrop, full-spectrum color shift from gold to violet to teal to rose.
- Metal: Electroformed copper, available in Bright Copper (warm lustrous shine) or Antique Copper (rich dark liver of sulfur patina, polished to an aged finish).
- Setting: Low organic electroformed bezel following the teardrop shape.
- Sizing: Available in US/CA sizes 4 through 9, including quarter sizes, plus Custom. For custom sizes, select Custom and add your size in the order notes at checkout.

How This Handmade Mystic Topaz Ring Is Made
Each ring is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every mystic topaz for its color shift and facet quality, then electroform copper directly around the stone using a slow electrical process that grows the metal into a one-of-a-kind setting. No mass production, no shortcuts.
Care
Mystic topaz has a surface coating that can be damaged by harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, or abrasive materials. Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions or perfumes. Clean gently with a soft damp cloth only. Store separately to avoid scratching the coating. Polish copper with a soft jewelry cloth if desired.
Copper Finish Options
Bright Copper has a warm lustrous shine and will develop a natural patina over time. Polish with a soft jewelry cloth to restore brightness. Antique Copper is dipped in liver of sulfur and polished to a rich dark patina that brightens gradually with wear.

To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
