How This Handmade Amethyst Ring Is Made

Each stone is hand-selected for color depth and character before being set into an electroformed copper band built up around it through an electrolytic process. No casting, no molds. The copper grows directly around each stone, creating a setting that is completely unique to each piece. The chevron shape is formed by hand, and the antique finish is applied to deepen the oxidation and bring out the texture of the electroformed surface.

Amethyst is a natural stone and each piece will vary slightly in tone, shape, and surface texture. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind. Note: amethyst can fade with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Store away from windows.

Care

Amethyst is a relatively durable stone but raw edges can be vulnerable to hard impacts. Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store dry and away from prolonged direct sunlight. The antique copper finish will develop a natural patina over time, which only deepens the character of the piece.
