How This Handmade Amethyst Ring Is Made

Each stone is hand-selected for color depth and character before the ring is built up around it through an electrolytic copper electroforming process. The copper grows directly around each stone, creating a setting completely unique to each piece. The chevron shape is formed by hand, then passed through the silver bath multiple times to build up a thick electroformed silver layer. The recessed areas are oxidized for contrast and depth.
