Seven raw amethysts, deep and violet as twilight, arranged in a chevron V and set in silver-plated electroformed copper. The cool silver makes the purple read richer and more saturated, each stone sitting in its own oxidized cup. Amethyst is one of the oldest stones in the human story of adornment, worn by royalty and carried by travelers, and in its raw form it carries something of that original quality, before it was ever cut or polished into something more legible. This ring is for the ones who are drawn to depth.
Amethyst is associated with calm, clarity, and intuition. It is the birthstone for February and is connected to the crown and third eye chakras. Wear it when you need to quiet your mind, trust your instincts, or simply feel held by something that has been meaningful for a very long time.
Why Amethyst
Amethyst is a variety of quartz colored purple by iron and natural irradiation during formation. Found on every continent, with notable deposits in Brazil, Uruguay, and Zambia, it forms in geodes and alluvial deposits in a range from pale lavender to deep violet. These raw crystals carry their natural growth surfaces, unpolished and immediate in a way that faceted amethyst is not. Amethyst is the birthstone for February and is associated with the crown and third eye chakras, calm, and the quieting of an overactive mind. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.
Raw Amethyst Chevron Ring: Materials & Specifications
- Stone: Raw rough amethyst, rich purple, natural crystalline surface. Seven stones arranged in a V-chevron shape.
- Stone size: Approximately 3-4mm each

How This Handmade Amethyst Ring Is Made
Each stone is hand-selected for color depth and raw character before the ring is built up around it through an electrolytic copper electroforming process. The copper grows directly around each stone, creating a setting completely unique to each piece. The chevron shape is formed by hand, then the ring is passed through the silver bath multiple times to build up a thick, substantial silver layer over the copper base. The recessed areas are oxidized to create contrast and depth between each stone cup.
A Note on Stone Variation
Amethyst is a natural stone and each piece will vary in color depth, from pale lavender to deep violet, and in surface texture. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind.
Care
Amethyst is relatively durable but avoid hard impacts. Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store dry. The multi-layer silver-plated finish is more durable than standard plating and will hold up well with normal wear. A light buff with a silver polishing cloth will restore the bright silver surfaces if desired.
