Seven raw aquamarines, pale and translucent as shallow water, arranged in a V and set in dark electroformed copper. The chevron shape is ancient and deliberate, a form that has meant protection, direction, and forward movement across cultures for thousands of years. In cool icy aquamarine, it feels like something worn at the edge of the ocean, calm and purposeful. This ring was made for the ones who move with clarity and want their jewelry to mean something.
Aquamarine is associated with clarity, courage, and calm communication. It is the birthstone for March and is connected to the throat chakra. Wear it when you need to speak clearly and move forward without fear.
Why Aquamarine
Aquamarine is a variety of beryl colored by trace amounts of iron into its signature pale blue-green. Found primarily in Brazil, Pakistan, and Madagascar, it forms in large transparent crystals with a cool, luminous quality unlike any other stone. The name comes from the Latin aqua marina, meaning sea water. These raw aquamarines have a natural unpolished surface that catches light in an organic, uneven way no faceted stone can replicate. It is the birthstone for March and is associated with the throat chakra, clear communication, and the courage to move forward. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Aquamarine Ring Is Made
Each stone is hand-selected for color clarity and raw character before being set into an electroformed copper band built up around it through an electrolytic process. No casting, no molds — the copper grows directly around each stone, creating a setting that is completely unique to each piece. The chevron shape is formed by hand, and the antique finish is applied to deepen the oxidation and bring out the texture of the electroformed surface.
A Note on Stone Variation
Aquamarine is a natural stone and each piece will vary slightly in tone, clarity, and surface texture. Your ring will be similar to the one shown but entirely one of a kind.
Care
Aquamarine is relatively durable but avoid hard impacts on raw edges. Remove before swimming, bathing, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store dry. The antique copper finish will develop a natural patina over time, which only deepens the character of the piece. A light buff with a soft cloth will restore the warm copper glints if desired.

About Electroforming
Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.
Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.

Care & Patina
Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
Copper Protection
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
