A raw aquamarine chunk, set in a simple electroformed copper cup on a wide flat copper band. The stone is pale icy blue-green with natural fracture planes that catch the light differently from every angle, each one a slightly different shape, a slightly different shade of sea glass and sky. The wide band gives this ring a quiet confidence, something you reach for when you want to feel grounded and clear. Made by hand in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Aquamarine is associated with courage, clarity, and calm communication. The March birthstone. Wear it when you need to speak clearly and think quickly.
Why Aquamarine
Aquamarine is a blue-green variety of beryl, colored by trace amounts of iron. The pale icy tone comes from ferrous iron within the crystal structure, deeper blues indicate higher iron content. It forms in granite pegmatites and is found in Brazil, Pakistan, and Madagascar. Associated with the throat chakra and the month of March. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Aquamarine Ring Is Made
Each raw aquamarine is hand-selected for its color and natural fracture character, then set in a copper cup and electroformed onto a wide flat copper band. Copper grows directly around the stone through an electrical process, forming the setting organically. No mass production. Every ring is one of a kind.
A Note on Stone Variation
Raw aquamarine varies in color from pale icy blue to deeper blue-green, and each stone's shape and fracture pattern is unique. The exact stone you receive will differ from the photos. This is the nature of raw stone work.
Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Polish with a soft cloth to maintain shine (Bright finish) or let the patina deepen naturally (Antique finish). Aquamarine is relatively durable but avoid hard impacts on the raw stone edges.

About Electroforming
Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.
Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.

Care & Patina
Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
Copper Protection
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
