The warmth hits before you even think about it.
A raw Facet A grade citrine crystal, natural, untreated, and unheated, genuine golden quartz with its original color and mineral integrity intact, electroformed in deep antique copper until the metal grows flush with the stone's natural edges. A statement presence on the finger, warm and unmistakable. The finish is a rich, near-black liver of sulfur patina, dark, aged, and deeply oxidized, that makes the pale honey-gold citrine glow by contrast. No two raw citrines are the same, and no two rings will ever be identical.
Citrine is associated with warmth, clarity, and joyful momentum. The November birthstone. Wear it when you need to feel energized and clear.
Why Citrine
Citrine is a variety of quartz colored by trace amounts of iron, ranging from pale yellow to deep amber gold. Formed in igneous and metamorphic rock, often found alongside amethyst in the same deposits. Long associated with clarity, optimism, and abundance across cultures. November birthstone. Solar plexus chakra. The stone of forward motion and warm, focused energy.
Most citrine on the market is heat-treated amethyst, purple quartz artificially turned golden through high-temperature processing. The stones used in this studio are natural, untreated, unheated Facet A grade citrine: genuine golden quartz with its original color, clarity, and mineral integrity fully intact. That distinction matters both for quality and for honesty.
No mystical claims. Just a genuinely rare and beautiful stone with a meaning that fits real life.

How This Ring Is Made
Each raw citrine ring is made to order in a small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every raw Facet A grade crystal for its color depth and natural form, then grow copper directly around the stone through an electroforming process, following every edge and surface exactly. The deep antique patina is applied by hand using liver of sulfur, then polished to reveal the organic depth of the finish. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every ring is one of a kind.
Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade citrine's golden color over time. The deep patina will continue to develop naturally with wear.
Gift Packaging
Every order arrives gift-ready with natural materials and a handwritten note card. Add your message in the order notes.

About Electroforming
Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.
Each ring is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.

Care & Patina
Electroformed copper develops a natural patina over time — deepening into warm, earthy tones that tell the story of your wear.
To maintain brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a touch of lemon and salt.
To preserve the aged finish, simply wipe clean and store in a dry place.
Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or applying lotions, as moisture may alter the patina over time.
Copper Protection
Embrace the Patina
Some collectors love the rich, aged look that copper develops over time. This natural patina tells a story—of adventures taken, energies absorbed, and the passage of time. If you resonate with that earthy, vintage look, feel free to let your copper evolve organically.
Why add lacquer?
- Slows the natural darkening (patina) of copper
- Minimizes the chance of skin reactions
- Keeps copper looking brighter for longer
- Protects while preserving the earthy character of your jewelry
