Moldavite is a tektite — a natural glass formed approximately 15 million years ago from a meteorite impact in what is now the Czech Republic. It is not a crystal but a fusion of extraterrestrial and terrestrial material. Long associated with transformation and spiritual awakening. It is chosen for its rare olive-green color, its raw natural form, and its cosmic origin. No mystical claims. Just a genuinely rare stone with a compelling history that fits real life.

Stone: Genuine raw moldavite tektite, Czech Republic origin, approximately 5mm. Each stone is unique.
Metal: Electroformed copper.
Finish: Bright Copper (warm, polished shine) or Antique Copper (aged patina, earthy depth).

How This Handmade Tektite Ring Is Made
Each moldavite ring is grown through electroforming, a slow process that deposits solid copper directly around the raw tektite through an electrical process. The result is organic character and one-of-a-kind form. No two rings are identical.
Sizing

Care
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Polish with a soft cloth to maintain shine (Bright finish) or let the patina deepen naturally (Antique finish). Moldavite is relatively delicate (Mohs 5.5–6) — treat gently to preserve the stone setting.

All rings are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
