This raw Sonoran turquoise copper cuff features genuine blue-green turquoise stones ranging from 5 to 10mm, each one fully encased in warm, textured electroformed copper with bronze wire-wrapped accents that add depth and mixed-metal warmth. The color shifts with the light, from soft sky blue to deep teal green, depending on the stone. Grounding without being heavy. Layerable without being fussy. A piece that feels like it belongs on your wrist and nowhere else.
Turquoise is associated with calm, steadiness, and clear communication. The December birthstone, worn for centuries as a quiet anchor during times of change.
Why Sonoran Turquoise
Turquoise is a hydrated phosphate of copper and aluminum, formed over millions of years where copper-rich groundwater moves through rock. Its color ranges from pale sky blue to deep blue-green depending on the mineral content of the host rock. Sonoran turquoise comes from the Sonoran Desert region of the American Southwest, prized for its vivid color and natural matrix patterning. Long associated with grounding, calm, and honest communication. Chosen for its distinctive blue-green color, its raw unpolished form that shows natural matrix and inclusions, and its warm, earthy presence. No mystical claims. Just a beautiful stone with a grounded meaning that fits real life.

How This Handmade Turquoise Bracelet Is Made
Each raw Sonoran turquoise copper cuff is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every turquoise stone for its color depth and natural matrix character, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around each stone through an electrical process, one slow layer at a time. Bronze wire is carefully wrapped around each stone, adding warmth and mixed-metal detail. The antique finish deepens the character from the start. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every handmade turquoise bracelet from this studio is one of a kind.
Fit and Sizing
This cuff has a slight opening that allows for gentle adjustability. Due to the wide cuff form, measure around the widest part of your hand (knuckles) when making a fist to ensure the cuff will slide on comfortably.
To find your best fit, measure your wrist and add 0.5" for a snug fit or 0.75" for a relaxed, comfortable fit.
Available sizes:
XS: 5.75" bracelet, fits approximately 5.0 to 5.25" wrist
S: 6.5" bracelet, fits approximately 5.75 to 6.0" wrist
M: 7.25" bracelet, fits approximately 6.5 to 6.75" wrist
L: 8.0" bracelet, fits approximately 7.25 to 7.5" wrist
Avoid repeatedly bending the cuff open and closed. Electroformed copper is solid and structured, not flexible sheet metal. Slide the cuff on from the side over the soft spot above your wrist bone, then rotate gently into place.

Care
Remove before swimming, showering, heavy activity, or applying lotions and oils. Turquoise is a porous stone sensitive to moisture, oils, and chemicals. Keep dry and store away from humidity. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth only. Avoid any liquid cleaners directly on the stone. Wipe the copper band with a soft cloth to maintain the antique finish. Avoid harsh polishing, which will remove the aged patina. Do not repeatedly bend the cuff.

About Electroforming
Electroforming is an ancient technique reimagined for modern jewelry.
Copper molecules bond to each stone over several hours, creating organic textures and secure settings. Learn more about our process.
Each bracelet is electroformed in pure copper, a process that uses electricity to slowly grow metal over organic forms, stone, or wax-carved bases.
This ancient-meets-modern technique creates natural textures and one-of-a-kind variations — no two pieces will ever be the same.
All bracelets are nickel-free, can be sealed for daily wear, and finished by hand in our Santa Fe studio.
For centuries, copper has been worn as a grounding element — believed to balance energy, support circulation, and keep the wearer anchored in presence. It reminds us of our connection to the earth and our ability to return to stillness.
Sizing Guide & Fit
Our electroformed copper cuffs are not adjustable and should not be bent or forced to fit, as this can damage the piece. Choosing the right size from the start ensures a comfortable and lasting fit.
To find your size:
- Measure your wrist with a flexible tape or string.
- Add +0.5" for a closer, snug fit.
- Add +0.75" for a looser, more relaxed fit.
Size guide:
- Extra Small – fits ~5.75" wrist
- Small – fits ~6.5" wrist
- Medium – fits ~7.25" wrist
- Large – fits ~8" wrist
✨ When in doubt, size up for comfort. Exchanges are accepted. Each cuff is handmade and one-of-a-kind, crafted to be treasured for years.
How To Correctly Put On Your Bracelet
Gently form the bracelet to your wrist using slow, even pressure. Avoid bending it back and forth repeatedly, as electroformed copper is malleable and can weaken over time. A close but comfortable fit helps the metal rest naturally against the skin.
Electroformed copper cuffs are not meant to bend — they should never be pulled open or squeezed closed. Doing so can cause the
copper to crack, especially at the middle or ends of the cuff.
How to Properly Put On Your Cuff Bracelet
- Find the soft spot on your wrist — the narrow part just above the wrist bone.
- Slide the open side of the cuff sideways onto your wrist — not from the top, but from the side.
- Gently rotate or roll the bracelet into place until it rests comfortably.
- Avoid bending or stretching the cuff to make it tighter or looser.
Care & Patina
Copper will naturally develop a patina over time, a mark of age, energy, and individuality. To restore brightness, polish gently with a soft cloth or a simple lemon-and-salt paste. To preserve its aged character, simply wipe clean and let the color deepen with wear.
With a little mindful care, your jewelry will stay beautiful for years to come:
- Remove before showering, swimming, or sleeping.
- Store in a dry pouch or jewelry box to slow natural patina.
- Wipe metals gently with a soft jewelry cloth after each wear.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and hair products.
- Crystals are natural and can be delicate—handle with care to avoid chips or cracks.
- Copper and brass will naturally darken over time. If you prefer a brighter finish, polish lightly with a jewelry cloth.
- For extra protection, select our lacquer option at checkout to reduce tarnish and minimize skin reactions.
Each piece is handcrafted with raw crystals and natural metals—organic changes over time add to its one-of-a-kind beauty.
