How This Handmade Turquoise Moon Ring Is Made

Each turquoise cabochon is hand-selected for its vivid color and smooth dome before the copper crescent is built up around it through an electrolytic electroforming process. The copper grows organically around the stone and setting, creating a granular textured surface completely unique to each piece. The antique finish warms the copper and creates a natural contrast with the bright blue stone.

A Note on Stone Variation

Turquoise is a natural stone and each cabochon will vary slightly in depth of blue and matrix pattern. Kingman turquoise is selected for its bright consistent color but natural variation is part of what makes each ring one of a kind. Remove before water and chemicals to preserve the stone.

Care

Turquoise is porous and should be kept away from chemicals, perfumes, lotions, and prolonged exposure to water. Remove before swimming or bathing. Store dry. The antique copper finish will develop a natural patina over time, deepening the character of the piece.
