How This Collection Differs from Intuition and Insight

The Intuition and Insight collection is for the moment: the decision in front of you, the signal you are trying to read, the trust required to act on what you sense right now. This collection is for the longer arc: the development of a practice, the cultivation of perception over months and years, the slow work of becoming someone who knows themselves well enough to trust what they know. The stones overlap in some cases but the intention is different, and intention matters in how you wear something.

Amethyst

A purple variety of quartz, colored by iron impurities and natural irradiation. One of the most widely used stones for meditation and spiritual practice across cultures and centuries. Associated with calm, clarity, and the quieting of mental noise. For spiritual growth work, amethyst is useful as a consistent companion: something worn daily during a period of practice, present through the ordinary days as well as the significant ones. Store away from prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Labradorite

A feldspar mineral with labradorescence, an iridescent optical phenomenon producing shifting blues, greens, and golds as the stone moves. Associated with intuition, psychic protection, and the strengthening of the inner life over time. For spiritual growth, labradorite supports the development of discernment: the ability to distinguish between genuine inner knowing and wishful thinking, between what is yours and what you have absorbed from others. Found primarily in Labrador, Canada, Finland, and Madagascar.

Lapis Lazuli

A metamorphic rock composed primarily of lazurite, with calcite and pyrite inclusions producing characteristic gold flecks against deep blue. Mined in Afghanistan for over six thousand years. Used in ancient Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Greek, and Roman sacred contexts. Ground into ultramarine pigment for Renaissance paintings of the Madonna. Associated with truth, wisdom, and the kind of self-knowledge that comes from sustained honest inquiry rather than a single moment of clarity. One of the oldest stones in human spiritual practice and one of the most visually distinctive.

Charoite

A rare silicate mineral found in only one location in the world: the Murun massif in Siberia, Russia, near the Chara River from which it takes its name. Discovered in the 1940s and not introduced to the wider gem market until the 1970s. Occurs in swirling violet, lavender, and purple with white and black inclusions, each piece with a pattern unlike any other. Associated with transformation, the release of fear, and the courage required to change. For spiritual growth work, charoite addresses the specific obstacle that most people encounter: the resistance to becoming different from who you have been. One of the rarest stones we work with.

Azurite

A copper carbonate hydroxide mineral occurring in deep azure blue, often found alongside malachite in copper deposits. Found in Morocco, China, Australia, and the American Southwest. Associated with insight, mental clarity, and the deepening of intuitive perception over time. For spiritual growth, azurite supports the development of the inner witness: the part of you that observes your own experience without being entirely consumed by it. Relatively soft at 3.5 to 4 on the Mohs scale, best suited for earrings and pendants rather than rings for daily wear.

Materials and Care

All pieces are set in electroformed copper or wire-wrapped brass, handcrafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Azurite is soft and sensitive to heat and light. Amethyst should be stored away from direct sunlight. Remove all pieces before water and chemicals. Store dry. Copper develops a natural patina over time.
