How Custom Made Rings Work

Select the ring style and stone that calls to you. At checkout, specify your ring size. If you are between sizes or unsure of your size, reach out before ordering — getting the size right matters and we would rather take the time to confirm than have you receive a ring that doesn't fit. Once your order is placed, your stone is selected and your ring enters the making queue. Most custom rings are completed within one to two weeks.

Ring Sizing

We size in US standard ring sizes. If you know your size, add it in the order notes at checkout. If you are unsure, a ring sizer can be ordered inexpensively online, or most local jewelers will size your finger for free. We can also size from a ring you already own that fits well — contact us with the inner diameter in millimeters. Half sizes are available on most styles.

The Stones

Custom made rings are available in a wide range of raw and polished gemstones — labradorite, moonstone, turquoise, amethyst, garnet, black tourmaline, citrine, rose quartz, and more. Each listing specifies which stones are available for that style. Because we work with natural stones, there will be variation in color, pattern, and size between pieces — your stone will be similar to the listing photos but not identical. This is not a flaw. It is what makes the piece yours.

Electroformed Copper

Every setting is electroformed — copper deposited through an electrical current directly onto the stone, building up a solid band and bezel in a single continuous piece. The process takes hours and cannot be rushed. The copper has a warm rose-copper tone when fresh and develops a darker patina with wear. The band is solid, not hollow, and built for daily use.

Processing Time

Custom made rings are not ready to ship. Please allow one to two weeks for making, plus shipping time. If you need a ring by a specific date, contact us before ordering to confirm availability. Rush orders may be possible depending on the current queue.

Care

Remove before water, swimming, dishes, and lotions. Store dry. Copper develops a natural patina over time. Individual listings include stone-specific care notes where relevant.
