✧ RINGS

Copper grows around stone the way stone grows in the earth — slowly, under pressure, into something permanent. That is the process behind every ring in this collection. Electroforming uses an electrical current to deposit copper directly onto a raw or polished gemstone, building up a solid metal setting that holds the stone without prongs or glue. The result is organic, textured, and built to last. Made one at a time in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

No two are identical. The stone determines the form.

Electroformed Copper Rings with Raw Gemstones

Large statement rings where the stone is the centerpiece. Raw amethyst clusters, rough citrine points, unpolished turquoise, labradorite slabs, and more — each set in a copper bezel that grew around the stone's natural shape. These rings have weight and presence. They are made to be noticed.

Tiny Talisman Stacking Rings

Thin electroformed copper bands with a single small gemstone, 4-5mm, set in a minimal bezel. Designed to stack two, three, or four on the same finger. Tanzanite, amber, peridot, aquamarine, black tourmaline, garnet, moonstone, and more. Quiet enough to wear every day. Meaningful enough to choose with intention.

Wire-Wrapped and Sterling Silver Rings

Hand-wrapped rings in copper, brass, and sterling silver. Raw stone settings built without electroforming — the wire holds the stone through tension and wrapping technique. Each one is a small structural problem solved by hand.

The Electroforming Process

A raw gemstone is prepared and suspended in a copper sulfate solution. An electrical current causes copper ions to deposit onto the stone's surface, slowly building up a solid copper shell. The process takes hours. The result is a setting that is literally grown around the stone, not cast or stamped. Every surface texture, every edge, every variation in the copper is a record of that process.

Sizing and Fit

Most rings are made to order in your size. Some ready-to-ship pieces are available in specific sizes. Statement rings with large stone settings are often adjustable within a half-size range. Check individual listings for sizing details.

Care

Remove before water, swimming, and lotions. Store dry. Copper develops a natural patina over time — a warm darkening that many people prefer. If you want a brighter finish, polish gently with a soft cloth. The patina is not damage. It is how copper ages.
